Our family heritage
Santrivani apartments are located in a traditional building that both Venetian and Ottoman architecture can be found and became a Greek family property in 1932 after the Ottomans residents left, as a result of Lausanne Treaty.
“Santrivani” is the name that locals use for the main square of the old town, half a minute away from the apartment. The square used to have a Venetian fountain, decorated with lion heads. That fountain is preserved in the yard of the old Archaeological Museum of Chania.
